One number decides whether your documentation ends up on the right project: the project number.

If the number entered in Cobuilder Connect doesn’t match the project number in Cobuilder Collaborate, the data won’t link to the project. It’s left stranded, never reaching its destination, and has to be tracked down manually.

The good news: this is easy to avoid. Use the right project number from the start, and the rest takes care of itself.

⛟FOR THOSE WHO AREWholesalers

THIS HAPPENS

You send product documentation through Cobuilder Connect, but use an internal or wrong project number. Then Cobuilder Collaborate can’t find the right project, and the documentation doesn’t link.

HERE’S HOW TO DO IT RIGHT

1Get the project number from the contractor  â€“ Ask the customer if it’s a Cobuilder project. If yes, the correct number must be used in the right field. This is where you enter the project number used in Cobuilder Collaborate, not your own customer or order number.

2Enter exactly this number in Cobuilder Connect before sending

3Double-check that the number is correct before you confirm.

Follow these three steps, and the documentation lands on the right project right away.

⛑FOR THOSE WHO AREContractor

THIS HAPPENS

The wholesaler needs the correct project number to send documentation that links to your project in Cobuilder Collaborate. Get it wrong or get no number at all, you’ll have to manually link the order afterwards.

HERE’S HOW TO DO IT RIGHT

1Find the project number in Cobuilder Collaborate – it’s on your project page.

2Share exactly this number with the wholesaler early, at first order.

3Use the same number in all communication, so there’s never any doubt.

Share the right number from the start, and both you and the wholesaler avoid cleaning up afterwards.

Still not sure?

.Is the number wrong, or has documentation already ended up in the wrong place?

Don’t waste time searching – we’ll help you link the data to the right project.
