Who we are

Cobuilder is a privately-owned international business with more than 120 employees. The company is headquartered in Oslo and has offices in Bulgaria, Belgium and France. We also have representation in Italy thorough our partner Harpaceas.

The company is a major driver for digitalization in the construction industry and is a strategic contributor to ISO, buildingSMART, CEN and CENELEC.

Vision and mission

Our vision is to create a better built environment for the people and for the planet.

A better built environment means buildings and infrastructure that are more sustainable, carbon neutral, efficient and safe. This is only feasible if the construction value chain is enabled with better data management throughout the built asset lifecycle.

At Cobuilder, we implement current and future industry standards for data management in our pursuit of this vision. This is captured within our company mission: Connecting construction to its digital tomorrow.

• Lars currently advises Governments and National/European associations on data aggregation and exploitation.

Nikolay Todorov

• Nikolay has extensive experience in operations and strategy and a history of working in the information technology, insurance and services industry.
• Skilled in Corporate Finance, Planning and Budgeting, Financial Accounting, Consolidation, Managerial Accounting.
• Nikolay holds master’s degrees from the University of National and World Economy and the American University in Bulgaria.

Espen Mathisen
Espen MathisenChief Marketing Officer

• For the last 11 years, Espen has been managing Marketing and communication departments at international B2B companies.
• Comes from the position of Head of Marketing and Communications in the Nordic and Baltic countries for the global medtech company Siemens Healthineers.
• His previous experience also includes working as an advisor at a PR consultancy and with communications at the Conservative Party of Norway (Høyre).
• M.Sc in Media studies from Bergen University

Christer Grønvold

• Christer is one of the co-founders of the company;
• Previously he held the position of CDO and has led Cobuilder’s technical evolution from the very beginning in 1997;
• Degree in Informatics from the University of Oslo.

• Enzo worked for the GS1 Global Office for over 10 years;
• He had been in charge of Verified by GS1, a cross-industry, global initiative around company and product identity.

Thomas Ingvaldsen

• Before joining Cobuilder, Thomas held the position of BIM Technician at the Norwegian hospital construction agency;
• Thomas has degrees in BIM Management and construction engineering.
