Cobuilder Group, a leading provider of digital solutions for collaboration on project data in the construction and civil engineering industry, today announces two new additions to its leadership team: Helge Øien joins as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Varun Mittal joins as Chief Product Officer (CPO).
“We are delighted to welcome both Helge and Varun to Cobuilder. They bring valuable expertise in finance and product respectively, and will be important contributors as we now accelerate our growth, both organically and through acquisitions and partnerships,”
Øien has broad experience in financial management, finance and strategic development, and will play a central role in supporting Cobuilder’s continued growth and international expansion. Øien joins from the position of CFO at Airthings ASA, where he was also interim CEO. He brings extensive experience in economic and financial leadership across technology, media and telecommunications, with a background from Telenor and Microsoft.
Mittal joins from the position of VP Products and Operations at Unacast, and has experience from leading B2B and B2C product teams at DNV, FINN and Unacast. Mittal brings experience in scaling AI and data solutions, improving the customer experience and driving growth through focused product strategy and outcomes based on customer behaviour. He will now lead Cobuilder’s product organisation and further develop the company’s product portfolio.
The appointments come at a time when Cobuilder is investing heavily in continued growth, and its owners at Corten Capital have expressed ambitions to accelerate this growth even further.
“We are seeing a very exciting development in the SaaS industry at the moment, driven by the opportunities that artificial intelligence provides. At the same time, we see that these are demanding times for the construction industry, and we must deliver greater value for our customers. I look forward to contributing to Cobuilder’s development, both organically and through acquisitions and to helping build further on the strong solutions the company has created,”
