“The Golden Thread – it’s not rocket science” – Join Antony Brophy’s discussion at the Futurebuild virtual event!

The Game Changers LIVE event starts on Thursday, 4 February 2021, from 11.30 – 14.00  am (London time).

Cobuilder’s Innovation Talk lead by Antony Brophy starts at 11:45 am.

About the Game Changers LIVE  event:

In May 2018 the government released the results of the investigation into the Grenfell Tower fire in a report, authored by Dame Judith Hackitt “Building a safer future: proposals for reform of the building safety regulatory system”, setting out more than 50 recommendations as to how to deliver a more robust regulatory system.

One key proposal was that the government should develop and agree with the construction industry a standardised format for digital information management, and as a result, the Golden Thread was born! Ever since there has been a lot of discussion around what is the ‘golden thread of information’ and what does it mean.

Hosted by leading expert Nick Tune from Atkins, this Game Changers LIVE will explore not only the what and the why, but how the golden thread is being implemented to help us as an industry build safer, better and smarter.

Register for Antony Brophy’s innovation talk on ‘The Golden Thread – it’s not rocket science!’ and learn more about:

– Dame Judith Hackitt’s call for a systematic change
