We are pleased to announce that Espen Mathisen has joined Cobuilder as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of the company.
Espen will be part of the Group Management and report to CEO Lars Chr. Fredenlund. He will be responsible for driving Cobuilder’s marketing and positioning strategy internationally and help the company succeed with its growth strategy.
Espen has extensive experience with marketing and communications and has spent the last 11 years managing marketing and communications departments at international B2B companies. For the last six years Espen has held the position as Head of Marketing and Communications in the Nordic and Baltic countries for the global medtech company Siemens Healthineers. He has also worked as Head of Communications at Infratek (now Omexom), a Nordic contractor focusing on building and maintaining critical electrical infrastructure. His previous experience also includes working as an advisor at a PR consultancy and with communications at the Conservative Party of Norway (Høyre).
“I am really happy to have joined the Cobuilder team. Like the medtech industry, the construction industry has a long way to go to utilise the full potential in digital solutions for collaboration and better workflows. Cobuilder is well positioned to play an important role in changing how the construction industry works, creating better solutions for the whole value chain and contributing to the reduction of the industry carbon footprint. I am motivated by the opportunity to help drive this process of change at such an innovative company like Cobuilder,” Mathisen says.
Lars Chr. Fredenlund, CEO of Cobuilder, is pleased to have Espen onboard.
“With his extensive experience Espen will be an important addition to drive our strategic marketing and communications efforts. At Cobuilder we have an ambitious business strategy which includes helping out to remove unnecessary silos between actors in the construction industry and implementing next level digital environmental data in the industry. To succeed we need to communicate the rationale for change in a meaningful way to all our stakeholders. Espen will play a key role in making that happen,” Fredenlund says.
