We are pleased to announce that Antony Brophy has joined Cobuilder in his role as Director of Business Development responsible for the UK market.
Antony will be part of Cobuilder global sales team and will be responsible for developing strong business relationships within the UK market, empowering our partners to grow their business and increase profitability through standard-based digital data solutions.
For the last 4 years, Antony held the position of Digital Manager at the widely known UK contractor, Willmott Dixon. He is familiar with different construction software solutions that are available on the market today and he knows well the difficulties that construction actors experience getting information to and from the supply chain. This has brought Antony and his team to partner with Cobuilder and utilise the potential of Cobuilder Collaborate as a tool to streamline the organisations’ construction processes.

I am familiar with the pain points in the market and the need for simple and effective solutions. Having previously worked for a big national contractor, I have already had the opportunity to partner with Cobuilder for more than 3 years and to dive into the pool of benefits that their digital solutions bring to the value chain. I truly believe that Cobuilder removes the unnecessary complexity in the industry and offers the simplicity that it needs. In my new role, I will have the opportunity to exploit my experience within BIM and help the UK actors achieve their digital transformation goals.
Antony has over 26 years of extensive experience within the construction and building services industry, digital technologies, 3D, CAD and BIM management. He is well acquainted with the digital transformation journey of construction organisations and how different roles fit into the BIM processes. He is a pragmatic innovator, passionate to empower people to think differently and work in new ways and is eager to provide them with the right tools for the task in-hand and assist with better informed data-driven decision making.
Antony is a member of the UK BIM Alliance Wales leadership team, which is part of the UK BIM Alliance communities’ network, supporting industry in Wales by hosting events covering the latest information and case studies in BIM.
On a more personal note, Antony shares that one of his biggest passions is cycling. He has taken part in various cycling events including the Carten100, Velothon Wales and the Tour of Pembrokeshire. He also nurtures his passion for designing and making furniture in a small workshop at his home in Cardiff.
